Weaverville is a small town located approximately 10 minutes from downtown Asheville. Its charming main street offers a variety of shops and restaurants encompassing a small, American hometown charm.
Local restaurants offer enjoyable culinary experiences. Stoney Knob is a favorite with their Greek menu selections, coconut cream pie, and wine list. Maggie B’s is a favorite place to purchase a bottle of wine, enjoy gourmet cheese or sandwich with friends, or visit for Friday night wine tasting. Well-Bred Bakery & Cafe is a hot spot for breakfast quiche or afternoon tea and a sweet treat. Blue Mountain Pizza is delightful and offers beers on tap and gluten free pizza options. Twisted Laurel is great for dinner or listening to live music. Glass Onion serves some great Italian dishes and is perfect for date night. And the local coffee shop, Allgood Coffee, is the perfect place for a caffeine pick me up.
More than that, Weaverville offers a selection of shopping, including Ingles, Aldi, Walmart, Publix, ABC Store, Lowe’s and more. It has the perfect blend of shopping and spacious feel. One particular highlight, parking is free!
The quiet neighborhoods and access to trails and the Blue Ridge Parkway provides convenience for families and outdoor enthusiasts. Reem’s Creek is a desired neighborhood, and perfect biking trail many love, and located minutes from Weaverville’s main street.
The community is very artistic which is represented by Mangum Pottery, Miya Gallery, Shope’s Furniture, Brown’s Florist, and the Shop Around the Corner. The area is also home to scientific equipment manufacturer Thermo Fisher and AB Emblem which manufactures emblems for the United States Military, NASA, and many police and fire departments throughout the country.
Homes in the area are quite charismatic, and the feel is very down to earth.
