  • Black Mountain – Approximately 20 minutes from downtown Asheville, the median sales price in this area this summer was $249,900, with an average of $297,100.
  • Swannanoa – Nestled in between Asheville and Black Mountain, the median sales price in this area this summer was $235,000, with an average of $249,500.
  • Leicester – With more open space and land, this area could be poised for growth in the coming years. The median sales price in this area this summer was $235,000, with an average of $241,800.

Hendersonville, Brevard, and Fletcher are also within this purchase budget.
